Shortly after her return from Belgium, Rebeca recognized her passion for designing. She decided to get a degree as an Interior Designer. Life challenges stopped her from finishing her goal at the time, but her passion was always there. As a military spouse, Rebeca moved numerous times. After each move, she would quickly transform the new house into a place her family could call home. From simply decorating the spaces, to renovating kitchens, Rebeca had a different vision for every home.
The birth of Blue Lillie. A casual conversation at a coffee shop with a friend helped Rebeca realize that her passion to design was still there. She became a Certified Interior Decorator to learn, test, and qualify as such to offer the best services to her clients. Eventually, she decided that decorating was not enough and started her studies with the New York Institute of Art & Design to become an Interior Designer.
The name Blue Lillie was not easy to find, but the perfect name for what she hopes it will one day turn into a family business. Lillies are Rebecas favorite flower, and her husband’s grandmothers name. Blue is her favorite color, and with a house full of boys, the natural dominant color in her home.
