Rebeca Marks is an interior designer with a global perspective and a passion for creating timeless, functional spaces. Born in Venezuela, Rebeca is an avid traveler who moved to the United States as a non-English-speaking teenager. Her early life experiences shaped her adaptability, work ethic, and deep appreciation for culture and design.

After graduating high school, Rebeca relocated to Belgium, where she immersed herself in the French language and European culture—an experience that continues to influence her refined, worldly design aesthetic. She holds a college degree in Business Management and is a Certified Interior Designer through the New York Institute of Art & Design, as well as a Certified Interior Decorator with C.I.D. International.

Rebeca is qualified by training, testing, and hands-on experience to design and decorate spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional. Her style is distinctly timeless, balancing sophistication with comfort and livability. As a military spouse, Rebeca has lived in and visited many places around the world, giving her a unique ability to adapt design solutions to a wide range of lifestyles and spaces. She is proud to offer her interior design and decorating services to families and businesses throughout North Carolina.

At the core of Rebeca’s work is a deep commitment to her clients. She listens carefully to their needs, goals, and lifestyles, then translates them into thoughtfully curated spaces that exceed expectations. Her driven, detail-oriented approach ensures every project is completed with care, intention, and precision—she doesn’t stop until it’s done right.

The Story Behind
Blue Lillie

Shortly after returning from Belgium, Rebeca recognized her true passion for interior design. While life circumstances initially paused her formal education, her love for design never faded. As a military spouse who moved frequently, Rebeca transformed each new house into a warm, personalized home—from decorating spaces to renovating kitchens—each with a distinct vision.

The idea for Blue Lillie was born during a casual conversation at a coffee shop with a friend, when Rebeca realized it was time to fully pursue her passion. She became a Certified Interior Decorator to formally qualify and serve clients professionally, and later advanced her education through the New York Institute of Art & Design to become a Certified Interior Designer.

The name Blue Lillie holds special meaning. Lilies are Rebeca’s favorite flower and also the name of her husband’s grandmother, symbolizing family, beauty, and legacy. Blue is her favorite color—and with a house full of boys, a natural and ever-present influence in her life.

Blue Lillie represents Rebeca’s vision of thoughtful design, meaningful spaces, and a business rooted in passion, family, and lasting impact.
